What you are reading is a blog post, and the website you’re reading it on is Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s careers website. But then you knew that already. It welcomes thousands of visitors a day (and growing!) and helps them find out about life at Enterprise, our values and our opportunities.

When we re-launched the website in November 2012 we had ambitious plans. We wanted it to become much more than just a place where you could apply for a job at Enterprise. We wanted to accompany students and jobseekers alike on their career journey. But more importantly give them a helping hand – even if it was just a ‘virtual’ one. So the content on here can help you manage your finances while at university or decide which career path to take, advise you on some great assessment centres tips or which questions to ask at an interview.

What you might not know is that it’s built and maintained with the help of hundreds of Enterprise people – from those that contribute their career stories from our retail network such as Rovaida and Emma, our apprentices and our contact centre colleagues such as James, to our European HR Director and our European Assistant Vice President. Not to mention our Campus Brand Managers and everyone who helps showcase how we live our value of ‘strengthening our communities, one neighbourhood at a time’. And how could we forget our wonderful team of recruiters, who spread the word about us on Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook.

We are very proud of this website, and it wouldn’t it be what it is without all those people who contribute to it. So when others think that it’s worth commending it with not one, but two awards, we can’t help but feel humbled and proud.  Thank you to all at TARGET Jobs and Onrec for awarding us the Best Graduate Recruitment website and the Best Corporate Graduate site award respectively.
