After completing a twelve-month placement in the Cambridge branch I can say two things: This internship is definitely not boring or mundane. And if you enjoy a challenge every single day, whether it’s solving specific needs of a customer or having to find an automatic vehicle within an hour, this is the placement for you.
Working within a small, close-knit team was definitely the highlight for me. The support I received from the team in the Cambridge branch was incredible. It’s obvious why Enterprise has been named as one of the top employees where women want to work for nine years in a row. As a female, I would definitely recommend applying here, as Enterprise employ hard-working, friendly and likeminded people regardless of gender.
FEATURED JOB: Management Trainee Central London
I have learnt so many skills during this placement. The main one I have been able to develop is how to deal with all different types of people. I was able to speak to employers at various stages in their career, who all started off as management trainees. This has improved my communication abilities and confidence, and I feel like I can deal with almost anyone now.
The opportunities for progression within this company are like no other. During my placement I was encouraged and supported by my branch in completing my Management Qualification Interviews. This grueling day assessed whether I had the ability to become a manager and progress within my career. After passing my MQI I received a promotion, pay rise and a job offer for when I graduate. Overall, if you are a hard working individual looking for flexibility and variety within your career, Enterprise is definitely the place for you.
