How to teach yourself leadership

In our last post we talked a little about diversity and developing future leaders. We also gave you a taste of some of the platforms we’ve created and initiatives we have in place to highlight, develop and recognise our own future leaders in Enterprise. One of our most successful, and enjoyable initiatives is the Leadership Forum – a two-day residential conference for 50 of our top female and BAME middle management team members to focus exclusively on developing their leadership behaviours and personal skills to take control of their career progression.

How I won a year in San Francisco

I earned a one-year placement with Enterprise in the United States as part of a competition held among interns in my home country of Ireland. I have to credit my US colleagues for helping make the change from Cork to San Francisco so simple and easy. The people I work with are all super friendly. They’ve helped me with everything really, in what has been an amazing year.

Martyn Flynn Plymouth University Award

Recruitment tips from an award-winning graduate recruiter

On the 15th of August, Enterprise Rent-A-Car recruiter, Martyn Flynn, won the award for Best Campus Recruitment Campaign at the 2012 Vice Chancellors Enterprise awards at Plymouth University. Enterprise acquires rental car company in France and Spain

On 1 February 2012, Enterprise Holdings completed its acquisition of Citer, a French-based rental car company, from PSA Peugeot Citroen S.A. Citer operates in France and Spain under its own Citer and Atesa brands, respectively.
