I’ve been working at Enterprise since the year 2000 – and in that time I’ve been lucky enough to go on not just one great career journey but two!
My first job here was within the billing team where I joined as a data entry clerk. I had some family members working for the company at the time, so I’d already heard great things about Enterprise and I knew that, even though I was starting right at the bottom, if I worked hard it would eventually pay off.
Within two years, I had been promoted to a supervisor role and went on from there to be part of the management team at our new call centre in Aldershot, where I spent five years running a team of 15 employees.
The key to this role was helping to develop people and keep them motivated, which, without wanting to blow my own trumpet, I was really good at.
At this point, the contact centre grew to become the Enterprise Business Support Centre, where many more departments were starting to form. So I decided it was the right time for me to further develop my skill set and apply for something completely different – this time with the Vehicle Repair Team. This was how the second phase of my career began and, to be honest, it’s the best decision I’ve made in my career so far.
I’ve now been working with the team for coming up to two and a half years, and I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s been an exciting time for this area of the business and I’ve loved looking after our fleet. I’ve also just been promoted to Senior Vehicle Repair Supervisor, which is one of the best things that’s happened to me since I’ve been at Enterprise.
